What Is Strength and Conditioning?
Strength and Conditioning is integral to everything we do as humans. Whether it be for creating more muscle to play sports, look better, improve injury prevention or simply improve long-term health, it is essential that your body be exposed to some form of Strength and Conditioning. Our workouts are aimed at improving strength, explosiveness, agility and speed. Strength and Conditioning is for everyone, not just athletes!
Strength and conditioning exercises
We do a number of different exercises in Studio to achieve this. Our core compound movements are-
- Squats
- Deadlifts
- Bench Press
- Overhead Press
However, these are supplemented with a variety of different exercises like box jumps and medicine ball
throws to give you the most efficient way of optimising your physical health.
In the Studio we also love to keep an eye on functional progress. Exercises like lunges, rows, push-ups
and core stability drills, in combination with sprints and cone drills, help you perfect the movements
that you use in your everyday life.
